Joseph has received numerous accolades for his work, including the lifetime achievement award for marketing from Star Power, a national real estate organization of top-producing Realtors in the U.S. He has been honored as a Who’s Who in Real Estate, speaks regularly around the country at local and state real estate conventions, and mentors hundreds of agents from around the country. Joseph has been given the title of the King of West Bellevue by his peers. He is actively involved in professional organizations, serving on several committees of the Northwest Multiple Listing Service, including the prestigious Grievance Committee and Broker Arbitration Panel.
Joseph began his real estate career in the Los Angeles area, where he owned a high-end boutique brokerage before he and Randi decided to relocate to Washington State to raise their family. When the couple first looked at Bellevue, they immediately fell in love with the city and the Eastside area. Joseph and Randi have enjoyed living in the community, watching their three daughters, Cody, Joey and Taylor, grow up and attend the local schools and play on school teams. Cody and Joey currently attend the University of Washington while Taylor attends Bellevue High School.
The Brazens have worked hard to give back to the community they call home. Joseph is a patron of the Seattle Arts Museum and the Bellevue Arts Museum and loves the Seattle Opera and the Seattle Seahawks. But he shines when it comes to supporting local school and neighborhood groups. He has served as chairman of Medina Days for nearly a decade, created and produced the first-ever Medina School Auction (now a legendary event), and has coached more than 25 youth basketball and baseball AAU and Bellevue Boys and Girls Club teams. He has also served on the local park board for eight years and is a member of the Bellevue Downtown Association, Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, and the Independent Brokers Association, to name just a few. If there is something that needs getting done on the Eastside or Seattle, Joseph is there with a helping hand and a smile. Through his sponsorship of the Overlake Service League’s annual luncheon, Joseph has helped raise more than $425,000 to support the homeless and under-privileged on the Eastside.
